ACTION ALLIANCE PARTNERSHIP

LifeWorks Schools is proud to work towards improving effective suicide prevention efforts within healthcare settings as called for in the National Strategy for Suicide Prevention (National Strategy). We are committed to providing education and resources to the communities we serve, working to provide best practice care to our patients.

Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS), which provides care through its national network of subsidiaries, has supported the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention (Action Alliance) as an Executive Committee member for over a decade. The Action Alliance is the country’s public-private partnership, working to advance the National Strategy for Suicide Prevention, which includes the goal of expanding implementation of best practices for suicide care across the country.

OUR GOOGLE FOR EDUCATION PARTNERSHIP

LifeWorks has a full G suite Google hosted domain featuring all Google Apps for Education helping our educators make a greater impact on our student’s academic experience. Google for Education gives our teachers the freedom to spend more time personalizing the learning experience, and less time managing it. Google for Education shareable devices and collaborative tools help our teachers prepare students with new, more engaging ways to learn the skills they need to succeed.

Students learn 21st-century problem-solving and the skills they’ll use in their future careers with accessibility features that help every student do their best work. The combination of Chromebooks, Promethean boards and Google for Education helps engage students across needs and learning styles in the same classroom learn in different ways. This allows us to meet the needs of every student, including those with impaired vision or hearing, physical disabilities, and diverse approaches to processing new information. Every student brings a different set of strengths, perspectives and needs to the classroom. From text magnification to voice typing to support, Google for Education makes it easier for all students to learn side-by-side with their peers. When all students can fully participate in the learning experience in their own way, everyone benefits. That’s why we use Google for Education products with accessibility in mind, to help every student learn, be inspired and achieve their full potential.
