Reading Services

LifeWorks provides individual, group and consultative reading support services for students who struggle with the key academic skill. The LifeWorks certified reading specialist works with students in groups as well as individually to assist with the development of reading skills. Student’s reading needs are identified through the use of norm-referenced, standardized reading assessments in order to provide the highest level of individualization as possible.

Students have the opportunity for sustained silent reading time each week based on the program they are in to further support school-based recreational reading. LifeWorks’ staff work with students to identify high interest reading materials with the goal of instilling a lifelong enjoyment of reading.
